Disclaimer: We use the vehicles fuel consumption values from data across the Internet which may not represent real world numbers, so use this value as a guide only. This is a BETA feature - in the case of hybrid vehicles we use the Petrol / Diesel fuel consumption values provided from manufacturers.

How we calculate the cost per Kilometer?

1. We need the current Fuel price (Coastal price of Diesel 50ppm (R18.63) / Petrol Unleaded 95 (R20.80) )
2. We need the fuel economy of the vehicle

3. Then we Math :)

- Now all you have to do is multiply this number by the distance you wish to travel and you can work out the cost for a Journey.

Electric Vehicles

In the case of electric vehicles the Cost is based on the Energy consumption in kWh/100 km for the vehicle. We're working on a better way to calculate this value for Electric vehicles, but it will read R 0 / km for now - check back soon, we'll have this feature implemented.
